Description
The magician opens the book to apparently look up a magic word, but to his horror, the book suddenly bursts into flames!
He quickly slams the book shut and carefully opens it again, and to his relief, everything is back to normal once more!
This magical effect can be repeated a number of times, or as a running gag, but once or twice is more than enough.
You set the book on fire as you open it by simply spinning the flint wheel. You will need a lighter fluid like “Zippo” to wet the wick. Do not allow the fire to burn for more than a few seconds to avoid damaging the firing apparatus.
You are supplied with a large black book and you can use it as such, or you can personalise it by pasting some words on the cover like “Magic Words for Beginners” or even add a book cover to it.
