Description
The magician lights up a long white candle, then takes up a silk and covers the lighted candle with it.
Surprisingly, the candle flame penetrates the silk without harmning it and burns merrily above the cloth.
In the end, the magician pulls the silk off the candle and blows out the flame. The silk is shown to be intact.
