Description
The magician shows an envelope with a written prediction inside. A spectator thoroughly shuffles a deck of cards and cuts it to his heart’s content then selects a card. The envelope is opened and the prediction given to the spectator to read …. but help! …. it is written in Chinese!
No problem there! The magician calmly translates the prediction to match the selected card and the audience is definitely not impressed! After more by-play, the spectator is asked to turn over the envelope. To everyone’s surprise, a duplicate of the selected card is found on the back!
